Different Types of Electrical Power Cords
Our appliances work when electricity is conducted to the appliance from the main source of power through a power supply cord. These power supply cords are very flexible and they have electrical plugs on its two ends. The ends consist of a male plug and a female plug. A rubber jacket or polymer insulates the copper strands that make up the cable assembly which connects the two ends of the power supply cord. It is not possible to interchange power cords since voltage and receptacles are not the same. There are differences with American and international standards.
